Cameron Becker

Percussionist / Musician & Educator

My main value within music education is service; connection within the arts is human and relatable. Culminating a community for artistic connection and friendship in this manner is something so foreign to students before joining a musical ensemble!

Navigating new relationships with people and musical activities is an act that requires honest and open guidance, which I find value and joy learning to provide.

Who am I?

Howdy! My name is Cameron Becker and I am a percussion sophomore in CSU's undergraduate music education program. I am a MSOE teaching artist for percussion and have taught at several local programs in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and Denver. I have performed with the University Symphony Orchestra, toured internationally with the Wind Symphony, and have served leadership in the CSU Marching Band.

I have performed on snare drum with the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble, Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps, and Phantom Regiment. I also connect with our local music scene by playing drums for local indie and funk bands. I also teach private percussion lessons to students in Loveland and Denver.
